Data Protection

Sentur uses Google’s Cloud Platform to store all information. We inherit all of Google’s security and encryption that it implements. As per Google’s documentation here. All information is encrypted at rest and in transit. This means that data when sent from your device to Google’s cloud is first encrypted before it leaves your device. Furthermore, the data when stored on Google’s servers is also encrypted to ensure security and privacy.

In addition to the above security features, Sentur implements additional policy on top of Google’s policies. We ensure specific data segments of your information are further encrypted using a KEY that is stored only on your device. Meaning, no one including Sentur’s developers can see that data. For example, all text fields in your Parts, Trailheads & Journal are encrypted by that policy and neither Google, Sentur Team or anyone can decrypt it.

By layering these security policies on top of each other, it ensures that even if one layer was hacked, no one can access or see your data.

Backups

All user data is backed-up daily and we keep a trailing 60 day history of the back-ups.

Data Use

We DO NOT SELL any data neither for ads or any other purposes and we make money ONLY through the in-app purchases you make in the app. You own your data and you can always delete your account by going to your Profile->Setting (Gear) and tapping "Delete Account".  (See image below)
